Salut,
publié il y a quelques jours sur facebook par Joel Antkowiak :
Published today: Popoola & Van der Zee: Discovering the likely type locality of Fundulopanchax spoorenbergi (Berkenkamp, 1976) in the Lower Cross Basin (Nigeria) Zootaxa 5501 (4): 596–600
Michael Popoola is a Nigerian biologist. Together we are describing a new Epiplatys of the Cross River. He wanted to catch some extra specimens early this year at a place near the border with Cameroon when he got the following fish in his net: Fundulopanchax spoorenbergi. By KFN members Frank Spoorenberg and Piet Boelen this species was discovered exactly 50 years ago at a wholesale aquarium fish in Amsterdam. After that, the fish was never captured in the wild and we also did not know exactly where the aquarium population, which is still being kept, came from. I will write an article about it for Killi News. Popoola caught a lot more beauty in that area.
Un mystère de 50 ans résolu !
Si quelqu'un a le pdf, je suis preneur !
